14:30 #Antifa2020 (Vienna) – From the House Raid to the 1st Trial days
Since August 2020, intensive investigations were underway against an unknown number of Viennese antifascists. The accusations at the time were “formation of a criminal organization”, various heavy battery, busting of a meeting, heavy damage to property, brawling, and so on. The accusations of the Vienna Office for the Protection of the Constitution, on which all repression grew, legitimized far-reaching investigative methods and considerably expanded the possibilities of repression. At the end of April 2022 there were then 2 trial days against 7 accused antifas, in June follows another & presumably the verdict.
The Office for the Protection of the Constitution and the Public Prosecutor’s Office construct the trial as Antifa against the Identitarian Movement, whose leading heads were summoned as witnesses in April. An overview of the events so far, the trial days & the expected verdict, as well as an assessment of the repressive track of the Vienna Office for the Protection of the Constitution against emancipatory movements in general.
16:30 Discussion on the International Campaign for Revolutionary Anarchism and Solidarity with Revolutionary Prisoners
The campaign was launched by some fellow comrades from Athens and is closely linked to the support and publications of the anarchist prisoner Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis. With the proposal to spread the campaign and discuss certain issues, we decided to give space to this discussion also in Vienna, even if our reality here is a completely different one compared to the struggles in Greece.

International Campaign for Revolutionary Anarchism and Solidarity with Revolutionary Prisoners
With the capitalist destruction of earth and life continuing unhindered and the nearing prospects of an ecological collapse, there is, perhaps more than ever, a serious and immediate need for global revolutionary movements. Where do our movements here in Europe stand faced with the immense challenges and demands of our epoch? Can we retrace our revolutionary roots? Can we become the creative force that can effectively abolish the cannibalistic authority of the rich few over the many?
Outside of Europe, the revolutionary spirit has reaffirmed its historical strength with armed and organized insurrections in Chiapas and the Middle East paving the way for the liberation of life through the self-organization of the people on the bottom, on terms of equality and communitarianism. But also all around the world in recent decades we see that combative resistance and insurrections are breaking out as a result of the increasing violence and totalitarianism of capitalism.
Let’s draw our inspiration from the Black resistance movement in the U.S. and the uprising in Chile. These were popular people-led movements using militant and insurrectionist strategies to directly confront the oppressors and their armed thugs (the police). Daily images of barricades, burning banks and attacks against cops flooding global news are the reminder that the world of those in power is easily set ablaze when the rage of the oppressed finds a collective expression.
And yet, revolutionary practices and ideas have been systematically abandoned in our movements. Our struggles are all too often assimilated into the liberal democratic cemetery of politics, where consensus with law and order prevails, thus reducing our movements into harmless opposition/protest movements. Inevitably this works against our need for actual self- organization of people as a combative revolutionary force.
Starting from the belief in the necessity of developing revolutionary perspectives on an international level, we call for an international campaign of solidarity events to create a dialogue within the wider international anti-state, anti-capitalist movement, about the role of militant, revolutionary perspectives in our common struggle for the liberation of all our lives through the social revolution.
Because discussions around revolutionary perspectives and ideas can not but place the revolutionary prisoners who put these ideas into practices in their center, our contribution to this campaign and discussions will be a focus on the case of Revolutionary Self-Defense and of the incarcerated revolutionary anarchist Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis, but also primarily on the written proposals towards the movement that the comrade has posed through his published communiques. Dimitris has taken the political responsibility for continuing the armed struggle based on the legacy of the urban guerrilla group Revolutionary Self-Defense and is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence in Greece for his revolutionary struggle in Greece.

On Tuesday, April 26, there were coordinated raids against anarchists in Munich, on the charge of “forming a criminal organization” (§129). In this context, several apartments, a print shop and the anarchist library Frevel were searched. The event will deal with what has happened so far and the current situation.

14:30 #Antifa2020 – Von der Hausdurchsuchung bis zu den 1. Prozesstagen: Was bisher geschah
Seit August 2020 liefen intensive Ermittlungen gegen eine unbekannte Menge an Wiener Antifaschist*innen. Die Vorwürfe lauteten damals „Bildung einer kriminellen Vereinigung“, diverse schwere Körperverletzungen, Sprengung einer Versammlung, schwere Sachbeschädigungen, Raufhandel und so weiter. Durch die Vorwürfe des Wiener Verfassungsschutz, auf dessen Mist die gesamte Repression wuchs, wurden weitreichende Ermittlungsmethoden legitimiert und die Möglichkeiten von Repression erheblich erweitert. Ende April 2022 gab es dann 2 Prozesstage gegen 7 angeklagte Antifas, im Juni folgt ein weiterer & vermutlich das Urteil.
Verfassungsschutz und Staatsanwaltschaft konstruieren den Prozess als Antifa gegen die Identitäre Bewegung, deren führende Köpfe im April als Zeugen geladen waren. Ein Überblick über die bisherigen Ereignisse, die Prozesstage & das zu erwartende Urteil sowie eine Einschätzung der Repressionsschiene des Wiener Verfassungsschutz gegen emanzipatorische Bewegungen im Allgemeinen.
16:30 Diskussion zur Internationalen Kampagne für revolutionären Anarchismus und Solidarität mit Revolutionären Gefangenen
Die Kampagne wurde von einigen Mitstreiter*innen aus Athen ins Leben gerufen und ist eng an die Unterstützung bzw. die Veröffentlichungen des anarchistischen Gefangenen Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis gebunden. Mit dem Vorschlag die Kampagne zu verbreiten und bestimmte Fragen zu diskutieren, haben wir uns entschlossen dieser Diskussion auch in Wien Raum zu geben, selbst wenn unsere Realität hier eine vollkommen andere im Vergleich zu den Kämpfen in Griechenland ist.

Internationale Kampagne für revolutionären Anarchismus und Solidarität mit Revolutionären Gefangenen
Mit der sich ungehindert fortsetzenden kapitalistischen Zerstörung der Erde und des Lebens und den nahen Aussichten auf einen ökologischen Kollaps, besteht vielleicht mehr denn je ein ernster und unmittelbarer Bedarf an globalen revolutionären Bewegungen. Wo stehen unsere Bewegungen hier in Europa angesichts der immensen Heraus- und Anforderungen unserer Epoche? Können wir unsere revolutionären Ursprünge wieder aufnehmen? Können wir die kreative Kraft werden, die die kannibalistische Herrschaft der wenigen Reichen über die Vielen wirksam abschaffen kann?
Außerhalb Europas bestätigt der revolutionäre Geist seine historische Stärke erneut mit bewaffneten und organisierten Aufständen in Chiapas und im Nahen Osten, und pflastert ihren Weg für die Befreiung des Lebens durch die Selbstorganisation der Menschen an der Basis, unter den Bedingungen der Gleichheit und des Kommunitarismus. Aber auch überall sonst auf der Welt haben wir in den letzten Jahrzehnten gesehen, dass kämpferischer Widerstand und Aufstände als Folge der zunehmenden Gewalt und des Totalitarismus des Kapitalismus ausgebrochen sind. Lassen wir uns inspirieren von der schwarzen Widerstandsbewegung in den USA und dem Aufstand in Chile. Dies waren „von Unten“ geführte Bewegungen die sich militanter und aufständischer Strategien bedienten, um die Unterdrücker und ihre bewaffneten Schläger (die Polizei) zu konfrontieren. Tägliche Bilder von Barrikaden, brennenden Banken und Angriffen auf Polizisten, die die weltweiten Nachrichten überschwemmen, erinnern daran, dass die Welt der Mächtigen leicht in Flammen aufgehen kann wenn die Wut der Unterdrückten einen kollektiven Ausdruck findet.
Und doch wurden revolutionäre Praktiken und Ideen in unseren Bewegungen systematisch aufgegeben. Unsere Kämpfe werden nur allzu oft in den liberal-demokratischen Friedhof der Politik eingegliedert, wo der Konsens mit Recht und Ordnung herrscht, was unsere Bewegungen auf harmlose Opposition/Protestbewegungen reduziert. Dies wirkt unweigerlich gegen unser Bedürfnis nach tatsächlicher Selbstorganisation der Menschen als kämpferische revolutionäre Kraft. Ausgehend von der Überzeugung, dass es notwendig ist, revolutionäre Perspektiven auf internationaler Ebene zu entwickeln, rufen wir zu einer internationalen Kampagne von Solidaritätsveranstaltungen auf, um innerhalb der breiteren internationalen antistaatlichen und antikapitalistischen Bewegung einen Dialog zu beginnen, der sich um die Rolle militanter, revolutionärer Perspektiven in unserem gemeinsamen Kampf für die Befreiung all unseres Lebens durch die soziale Revolution drehen soll.
Da die Diskussionen über revolutionäre Perspektiven und Ideen, die revolutionären Gefangenen, die diese Ideen in die Praxis umsetzen, in den Mittelpunkt stellen, wird sich unser Beitrag zu dieser Kampagne und den Diskussionen auf den Fall der Revolutionären Selbstverteidigung und des inhaftierten revolutionären Anarchisten Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis beziehen, aber vor allem auch auf die schriftlichen Vorschläge zur Bewegung, die der Genosse in seinen veröffentlichten Kommuniqués unterbreitet hat. Dimitris hat die politische Verantwortung für die Fortsetzung des bewaffneten Kampfes auf der Grundlage des Erbes der Stadtguerillagruppe Revolutionäre Selbstverteidigung übernommen und verbüßt derzeit eine 16-jährige Haftstrafe in Griechenland für seinen revolutionären Kampfes in Griechenland.

Am Dienstag den 26. April gab es koordinierte Razzien gegen Anarchist*innen in München, aufgrund des Vorwurfs der „Bildung einer kriminellen Vereinigung“ (§129). In diesem Rahmen wurden mehrere Wohnungen, eine Druckerei und die anarchistische Bibliothek Frevel durchsucht. In der Veranstaltung wird es um die bisherigen Geschehnisse und die aktuelle Situation gehen.
